Shindhu Shiksha Abhiyan is an initiative of STEAM Vision Foundation. It was inaugurated in 2016 to promote distance and vocational Education, and Igniting a Culture of Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Leh-Ladakh in association with Sindhu Darshan Yatra Samiti. Glimpses of the inauguration of Sindhu Shiksha Abhiyan by Honorable Shri. L.K.Advani Ji. The Journey this year for Sindhu Shiksha Abhiyan started with the commencement of Sindhu Darshan Yatra 2018 . Sindhu Darshan Yatra is an assimilation of religions, enthusiasm and adventure. It also establishes Indian unity and communal harmony. It encourages tourism and also salutes our brave Indian soldiers. Sindhu Darshan Yatra has also helped in integrating people from different regions and has also given them an opportunity to admire the natural beauty of Leh and Ladakh region. Sindhu Shiksha Abhiyan is proud that the girls of Leh participated in the renowned Technovation challenge 2018. The Technovation Challenge is the largest and longest-running global technology competition exclusively for girls. Technovation offers girls around the world the opportunity to learn the necessary skills to become tech entrepreneurs and leaders. Girls ages 10 to 18 learn to identify a problem in their community and create a mobile app solution to address that problem, and then learn how to communicate these ideas and translate them into a fully launched business. |

Gurches Junior Team
Gurches App is developed by Young techie girls Rigzen Angmo(12),Diksha verma(12) and Lakpa diki Sherpa(13). This innovative application serves the purpose of aiding visitors (over 200,000 annually), tourists, and soldiers (totaling 60,000+) in Leh-Ladakh by facilitating communication in their own languages. The app achieves this by seamlessly converting Hindi and English to Ladakhi, and vice versa, thereby bridging language barriers and enhancing the overall experience of individuals in the region.

Buddha (which means "to Know" and also name of Lord Buddha) helps the visitor coming in Leh Ladakh to know in details about the monasteries,tourist places etc by scanning the QR code placed at those places and visitors also share the details via social media

In 2019 STEAM Vision Foundation collaborating with student interns of STEAMedu Learning Pvt. Ltd. took an initiative to support SINDHU SHIKSHA ABHIYAN, a community outreach project to mentor young minds at Leh Ladakh for innovation and entrepreneurship | Young girls from different schools at Leh Ladakh were meticulously mentored for developing mobile apps to address local, imperative quandaries during the 5-day community outreach program – GENIUS(Girls Empowering New India Using STEAM) at World’s Highest Altitude Region Leh-Ladakh by STEAM Vision Foundation. |
