In June 2016, our visit to an impactful education center managed by the NGO Konenig Koshish served as a catalyst for transformative change. This encounter inspired Steam Vision to establish the Vivekananda Center in Shalimar Gaon, introducing a hybrid model of education and STEAM programs aimed at equipping underprivileged youth with cutting-edge IT skills in robotics and app development.

The impact of our initiative extended far beyond conventional education. Through diverse programs such as Technovations—an international competition—we facilitated the teaching of various skills, including digital awareness, app development, programming, and entrepreneurship.

Remarkably, our students, numbering 233 from government schools (comprising 128 girls and 105 boys in 7th and 8th grades), developed a staggering 27 apps under this program.

Our commitment to dismantling the stigma around education yielded a thriving 21st-century education ecosystem at the Vivekananda Center.

Despite the challenges posed by the 2020 pandemic, we seamlessly transitioned our onsite program to a fully online format.

Today, witnessing our students prepare for careers in engineering, medicine, accountancy, and entrepreneurship, we feel blessed to see the tangible fruits of our efforts in shaping a brighter and more promising future for these young minds.
