The Kalam Dream Lab at Sewa Dham Vidya Mandir School in Madoli, Delhi, embarked on its transformative journey in December 2015, in collaboration with the Steam Vision Foundation. This initiative, conceived to bridge the digital gap prevalent in fully established schools and deserving institutions like Sewa Dham Vidya Mandir, has blossomed into a beacon of educational innovation.

Steam Vision Foundation's initial steps involved installing the first smart board, providing CBSE e-books from 6th to 12th grade, and establishing a Wi-Fi ecosystem. These initiatives laid the groundwork for numerous collaborative activities with the school management, ultimately leading to the creation of the Smart Kalam Dream Lab.

The Kalam Dream Lab serves as a platform for introducing STEM education through the comprehensive STEAM program developed by Steam Vision. This initiative embodies a fusion of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Social Outreach, showcasing Steam Vision's commitment to empowering deserving students with essential 21st-century skills.

The lab fosters a culture of innovation through a "Learning By Doing" approach, enhancing students' technical, soft, and communication skills, teamwork abilities, creativity, critical thinking, and project management capabilities, among others.

It aims to equip students not only with academic knowledge but also with practical skills crucial for success in today's dynamic world.
